How
does it work?
In steps:
1.You find or make a good sharp digital photograph of the animal,
one you really like, with a minimal size of 960 x 1280 pixels.
2. You fill out the order form.
3. I receive the form and I will contact you through e-mail.
4. You e-mail me back, with the photograph as an attachment. I always
like to hear more about the animal, but of course, that's entirely
up to you.
5. If I have "approved" of the photograph I will let you know and
I will start working. If not, we go and see if we can fix the problem.
6. Half way through the work-process I will send you a picture of
the unfinished piece through e-mail, and I would like you to comment
on it.
7. When it's finished I will send you another picture, only this
time there will be a "watermark" through the picture, and of course,
this mark will only be on the digital version, not the original.
8. When we are both satisfied with the result, you transfer the
money to me,
and I will send you the original piece of art through the postal
service.
The Portrait
I will be creating this portrait with the help of a photograph.
So you will have to find a good sharp picture of the animal.
The animal will be exactly like it is in the photograph!! Some little
things
I can change, others I can leave out ( like halters or collars)
but
I don't know the animal myself and I will have to work with the
visual information
I get through the photo. It's always nice if you send me more pics
so I will have more info to work with. Please check out the "photography
tips" page for more details.
The Background
I can leave the background out, I can create a partial background,
or a complete background when it's a simple one. Experience has
taught me that a complicated background is a lot of work and it
seldom does the portrait any good.
In most cases it just takes the attention away from the subject;
the animal.
You can check out my "gallery" to see what the possibilities are.
