Prices and Shipping

Materials:

For animal portraits I work with oil-paint and "mixed media" ( all kinds of materials blended into each other: Pastel, ink, pencil, gouache and sometimes oil pastel.)
I only use the best quality of materials and the paper I use is mostly coloured since I prefer working in two directions. ( Towards the dark and towards the light)
The paper is thick, of good quality and acid-free. The size of most of my work is relatively large for this genre, 50 x 70cm / appr. 20 x 25 Inch. The material is well fixated
and sprayed with an extra protecting layer of varnish.

If you have special wishes about the size of the work or the number of animals that feature in it, then we will have to, depending on those wishes, come to an agreement before I start working on it.

Shipping:

My Mixed media work is, considering the materials I use, perfectly flexible, so I will send it to you, through the postal service, I. D. recorded, in a firm tube-shaped case, that will be sealed solid on both sides. Oil-paintings will be carefully wrapped and boxed. The shipping costs will be added upon the pice of the artwork.

How long before you have the portrait at home?

Mixed Media: Depending on the amount of commisions I'm working on, the possible special wishes you may have and of course on where you live, it will take 3 to 6 weeks.
Oils: This will take longer because of the time the paint needs to dry in between layers and afterwards. You will have to contact me if you have a specific date in mind.
